Regions & Counties

The County coordinators shall be responsible—

  • to coordinate in consultation of Deputy Inspectors General’s all operational matters at county which may include disaster, search and rescue;
  • to execute operational command   and control of National Police Service at the county level;
  • to Inspector General for the effective and efficient administration of the county;
  • to provide strategic guidance and direction to all offices at the county;
  • to establish and maintain good relations between the services and general community;
  • to provide internal oversight of police at the county;
  • to coordinate training of police officers at county level;
  • to manage, monitor and evaluate performance;
  • to plan, organize and coordinate joint security operations;
  • to prepare and execute all operational orders; and
  • to perform such other issues as may be assigned by Inspector- General or as prescribed by law
