Regions & Counties

The region coordinators shall be responsible—

  • Coordinate in consultation with the Deputy Inspectors General in all operational matters at county which may include disaster, search and rescue
  • Execute operational command   and control of National Police Service at the county level
  • Inspector General for the effective and efficient administration of the county
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to all offices at the county
  • Establish and maintain good relations between the services and general community
  • Provide internal oversight of police at the county
  • Coordinate training of police officers at county level
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate performance
  • Plan, organize and coordinate joint security operations
  • Prepare and execute all operational orders and
  • Perform such other issues as may be assigned by Inspector- General or as prescribed by law
