During the annual Kenya Police Service security meeting held on 27th February at the Kenya Maritime Institute in Mombasa, Deputy Inspector General(DIG)of the Kenya Police Service, Eliud Lagat, led regional police commanders, directors, and formation commandants in signing up on key performance indicators for delivery of their mandates.

The exercise follows the signing of the 2025/2026 performance contracts on the 17th of February between by the Inspector General of the National Police Service, Douglas Kanja and his two deputies; Eliud Lagat of the Kenya Police Service and ,  Gilbert Masengeli of the Administration Police Service, as well as the Director, Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Mohammed Amin, who committed to superior service delivery at the National Police Service.
