The mandate of the Kenya Police Communicstions School shall be to:-

• Train Service Signalers and operation communication skills
• Offer basic Signals course for signalers
• Train and test for upgrading of signalers in Service 
• Continuous monitoring and evaluation of competency of Kenya Police Service signalers
