The mandate of Kenya Police Driving School is to:- 

• Offer basic driving course for Kenya Police Service drivers
• Training and testing for upgrading of drivers currently in Service
• Training of drivers on minor mechanical parts of the vehicle
• Continuous monitoring & evaluation of competency of KPS drivers
• Form a driving research Section in relation to road accident within the police
• Train police drivers to the highest possible standards of competence and integrity
